Senior Year (Chapter 19)

(Chapter 19) *****After Graduation***** (HAyley's POV) A week had passed,since graduation. Josh's Parents and my dad had planned a family summer Vacation to the Bahamas. I was so excited, It would be both mine and Masons first time there. Life after Graduation has been awlsome, no more worries,other then the flower that I recieve everyday from some stange person. Hayles let go your dad is here Josh said as he walked into my closet with Mason in his arms, while I did some last minute packing. Ok I said as I zipped up my bag. I'll get,you take Mason Josh laughed as I struggled to lift the bag. Thanks, Your welcome. Josh and I headed down stairs both greeting my dad and we were then off to the air port were the rest of the family waited. You guys are always late Zac laughed. The pane ride was tirering, a movie played, but drifted to sleep about twenty minutes within the movie. After ariving in the Bahamas the we all checked into our hotel rooms, then went to dinner. I had notice that Josh had been acting strange lately as if something was wrong or bothering him. After doing a little site seeing, we were back in our hotell room sitting on the couch cuddel against each other watching a movie. Josh I''m gonna go put Mason to bed I whispered, he had drifted off to sleep over an hour ago. Ok he whispered back, I gentally placed a kiss on Mason head before making my way back to Josh,I sot to were I was facing him, I wanted to know what was bothering him. Josh can I ask you something. Yeah of course anything. Is something wrong I asked nerviously. No everything's great, I'm on vacation with my girlfriend,my son and my family,Why? he smiled. Oh nothing, I just feel like something bothering you, you seem kind of destracted. Everythings fine Hayles,he said with a smile pulling me into his arms and lightly kissing me on the cheek. Ok I whispered not wanting ruin our vacation, with my curiosity. ****One week later**** So tomarrow is the last day of our vacation, and tonight were having a huge family dinner. I could tell something was still going on with Josh, but I didn't want to push it,maybe I was overreacting, so I just shrugged it off. Josh were late for dinner I said as I walked into the bathroom where he stood fixing his tie. Wow some one looks sharp, Brad Pitt better watch out I giggled. Josh blushed as he truned to me. Josh wore a black tux, black dress shirt,and a red tie, fresh hair cut his stubbel trimed, he looked georgous. Well I'll tell you one thing Angelina
aint got nothing on you. I wore a simple black strapless dress,and my red pumps to match his tie.
You just saing that I blushed. Your beatiful Hayles. Thanks I whispered shly,sometimes I feel like I'm the ugly girl that got the prince,and maybe I not good enough for him, But Josh always made me feel like a princess, and I love him so much for that. Ok lets go before Zac and Nate eats everything Josh chuckled. Josh were are we going we've past all the resturaunts and I'm pretty sure this rode leads to the beach. You'll see he smirked. We pulled into the parking lot of the private beach that we were on yesterday, I was completley confused, It was about nine oclock so it was kind of dark out, and Mrs.Farro had taken Mason earler, So maybe Josh was planning something romantic. Wait don't get out yet Josh said, He blew the horn before he made his way to the passenger side were I waited, and opened the door for me. I need you to put this on he said as he handed me a black blind fold. Josh I whined. Pleeeeeeease he whined. Ok I pulled the blind fold over my eyes. The first step I took I almost fell but he caught me. How about this, Josh lifed me, carrying me bridal style. Are you planning on killing me I asked. Why would I kill you, when I can't live without you he chuckled. After a minute of walking Josh stopped. Ok I'm gonna put you donw now,but don't take of the blind fold just yet. Ok I said I was so freakin nervious now. On the count of three I want you open your eyes.I simply nodded. One two three. Josh lifted the blind fold and I opened my eyes. OH MY GOSH I gasped, looking out at the beach, litten up be latteren hanging from an huge opened white tent with all of our famliy and friends standing under it all wearing white. I turned giving Josh the biggest most tighted hug ever. I love you he whispered. I love you too, I kissed him hungerly wrapping my arms around his neck as he held my close,forgetting that everyone was watching. Ok you two I'm starving Zac yelled over the awwww's. Thank you so much, I whispered against his lips before pulling fully away. We took our seat at the middle of the table and begain to eat the large dinner. Towards the end of dinner everyone was all over the litted area of the beach having seperate coversations. Josh had disapered some where with Zac,Jeremy, Taylor and his older brother Nate. I sot at the table craddling a sleeping Mason in my arms, having a conversation with Mrs. Farro, Linda, Sarah, Layla and Hannah. Can I have everyones attention Josh and the guys yelled over all the voices. Everyone addmeditly stop talking, Josh walked over to me carefully taking Mason from my arms, Handing him to Zac. Then he took my hand gentally pulling me up from my seat. Josh whats going on I asked. Hayley when you first moved to Tennessee I was sure of what to expect, Jeremy said you were a crazy spunky blond rock-n-roll kind of girl. and you are except for the blond part,and I love all that about you. Are relationship started out as us pretending and it turned into something so beautiful, You gave me my first child and I wanted to know if you would give me one more thing to make my life complete, Josh said for everyone to here as he got down on one knee, pilling out a small black box from his pocked, reveling
a silver diamond ring.
