*Bad Reputation (Chapter 15)*

  So first off let me apologize for taking so long to update. My lap top screen is being fixed, but I won't have it back until Monday. Anyways I'm not exactly sure how long this is, I wrote it all on my phone. And just a quick warning this chapter has a tone of profanity , hopefully you'll bare with me. Thanks to anyone who's still reading.

Hayley sigh in relief as she turned down the familiar street, to see no police cars; maybe her grandparents hadn't reported her missing yet, but still she knew she was in deep shit for not coming home last night and for missing school now.  Paris was defiantly  out of the question for her.

"I guess this is goodbye, I'm sure my grandparents will never let me see you ever again." Josh says playfully kissing Hayley's cheep, but she doesn't giggle, laugh or show any hint of joking in return.

  "Your grandparents know we're dating ? " Hayley asks; letting her mind wonder from the thought of of her grandparents grounding her for eternity ;for just a moment.  

"Well my grandfather does, and he's ok with it?" Josh shrugs. Hayley only nods as her driveway came into a better view. As soon as she pull's into the driveway her grandparents as well as Josh's grandparents come running for the Williams house frantically.  

"Where in gods name have you been? Mrs. Farro shouts at her grandson as Josh climbs from the passenger side of Hayley's car. Hayley's grandmother on the other hand does the complete opposite. She pulls Hayley into her arms and held her closely.

  "You scared me." Mrs Williams  whimpered and  held onto her granddaughter for dear life.   Hayley instantly felt guilty as she felt  her grandmother hot tears sink thought the fabric of her t-shirt that covered her shoulder.  

    " I'm so sorry." Hayley whispers hugging her grandmother back as tears threaten to escape her own eyes.   "It's ok as long as your safe." Mrs. William  loosens her grip on her granddaughter , to see her face as she asked the next question. "Where were you?"  She asks. Hayley doesn't answer because she doesn't want to lie; she already feels guilty for worrying her grandparents half to death.  

"It was all my fault Mrs.Williams." Josh steps in as he sees the look of guilt and shame on his girlfriends face.  He now feels guilty, because technically  it was his fault; if he wouldn't have been so tired the previous day; Hayley would have never taken him to the abandon house, and they would have never overslept, and so on.... Josh thought to himself. " I asked Hayley if she wanted to hangout after school, then we went to Jeremy's house for band practice; I guess we lost track of time , it was so late that Mrs. Davis insisted that we stay over." Josh half lied.  

Mrs.Farro nods "Thank you for taking care of my granddaughter Josh; I'm just glad you two are home and safe. " Mrs Williams says and turns pulling Hayley along with her as she and Hayley and Mr.Williams began to make their way back to their home, but three are only able to take a few steps before Mrs. Farro stops them.  

" That's it ? All your going to say is that glad that she she's home safe?" Mrs.Farro exclaims in disbelief.   

"Yes Pam, I'm glad that my granddaughter  is home safe as well as Joshua . Yesterday was a long day, so can we all just calm ourselves before way say or do anything  irrational." Mrs. Williams says calmly, though not liking the tone her long time friend was using with her.  

"You let that child walk all over you and your husband, maybe that's why she's the way she is: a little spoils brat."Mrs. Farro spat with so much venom on her voice.  

"Pam honey ?" Mr.Farro speaks for the first time, but his wife simply ignores him and continues her rant.  

"I don't want you hanging around this girl anymore Joshua , she nothing but an bad influence on you." Mrs Farro tells Josh sternly.

  "Grandma you can't...." Josh start, but is cut off by his grandmother.  

"No I don't want to hear it Joshua!  It's final, if I see you with her again you will regret it, now how home and get ready for school because your going." Josh gives Hayley a sympathetic look before crossing the street with his grandmother not far behind.

  "I'm sorry about my wife, she's been a little emotionally unstable since starting her  treatment." Hayley's grandparents nod, accepting Mr.Farro's apology. "Hayley your a very lovely young lady, and I have no problem with you dating Joshua." Mr.Farro continues. Hayley nods resting her head on her grandmothers shoulder.   

"Phil are you just going to stand out there all day!" Mrs.Farro shouts at her husband from their front porch.  After excusing himself Mr.Farro heads home.  

"Treatment ?" Hayley questions her grandmother, no being able let go of what Mr.Farro had said.  

"Mrs. Farro is not well honey." Hayley gives a grandmother a look asking her to continue, and Mrs.Williams understands. "Pam found out she has breast cancer?" Hayley gasps placing her hand over her mouth in shock. The first thing that came to her mind was did Josh know?  

"Honey don't worry Mrs. Farro will be fine." Hayley's grandmother reassured her. Hayley weakly nods, before heading upstairs to get ready for school.

  "Are you going to school  today honey?" Mr.Williams asked Hayley as she came down stairs an hour later.

  "Yes, I've all ready missed the first three classes and lunch, being their for the last hour and a half shouldn't hurt me. " Hayley explains. Mr.Williams nod and watches his granddaughter exit the house.   

Hayley sighed as she enters the school, the hallways were empty meaning her last class has already began.  Hayley walks to her locker, and searched for her chemistry book, before shoving her backpack in. " Your Hayley Williams right?"  Hayley hears from behind her before feeling a pair of tone muscular arms wrapped around her waist.   

"Get off ..." Hayley starts but realizes the person was no other than Josh as she turns to face him. " Sorry thought you were someone else."  

Josh chuckles " Glad to know you won't  let another guy get away with hugging you like that." Josh kisses Hayley's  lips. " So what's the damage?" Josh questions, referring to how trouble Hayley possibly got into for stating out all night.  

" I'm not sure yet, they're just glad I'm home safe. What about you?"

  I'm grounded for a month, and not allowed to see you any more.Can you believe my grandmother threaten to send me back to New Jersey if she sees me with you." Hayley frowns, since her and Josh became friend, and had started dating the one thing she feared the most was him leaving her. " Hey I'm not going anywhere ." Josh reassured.

  "But we can't see each other anymore ." Hayley says with a shaky voice as she now refuse to look Josh  in the eyes.  

Josh places his hand under Hayley's chin and tilts her head up. "Yeah we can, just not at my house." Josh places another kiss on Hayley's lips, before the are interrupted by the last person they expected to speak to them.  

"Well aren't you two the most adorable  couple. I'm gonna need to see a hall pass."  

"When did you become hall monitor?" Hayley giggled .  

"Today actually, I guess I just like the power of controlling people?" Alex smirked. "Now I'm gonna need to see your hall passes ."  

"Your joking right, you know we never have those things." Hayley says.

  "Well I guess I'll be seeing you two in detention? Well actually I won't I have band practice after school." Alex  smirks handing both Hayley and Josh a detention slip.    

"You can't give Hayley detention she just got to school a few minutes ago!" Josh protested.  

" Yeah, whatever." Alex smirks turning on his heels and walked away. Hayley couldn't believe what had just happen. This wasn't the same Alex Gaskarth she knew. The Alex she knew had once kicked the hall monitors ass after giving him a detention which he skipped out on and got suspended from school fir two weeks. 

  "What the hells gotten into him? Josh asks, but says it more to himself. Hayley has an idea of why Alex is acting this way toward her and Josh, but simply shrugs it off. She had used Alex the time her and Josh split; so maybe this was his little revenge.

  "Lets just go to class?" Josh suggest crumbling up his and Hayley's detention slips, tossing the crumbed up paper over his shoulder then headed to class.   The final class went by as slow as possible, and for the first time neither Josh nor Hayley cared wishing that it would laugh even longer, considering school would be the only time they'd be able to see each other.   "How are you getting home now? " Hayley asks as she and Josh walked hand and to the locker they shared.  

"My grandmother." Josh sighs. Hayley groans hoping that she'd get to see Josh longer.  

"Shouldn't you two be heading to detention?"  Alex smirks, while Jack, Rian, and Zack all laughed.

  "Fuck off Gaskarth!" Josh snapped stepping in front of Hayley.  

" Whoa what's going on over here" Jeremy asked noticing the stare down between Josh and Alex.  

" I'm gonna put this little boy in his place if he don't back the fuck down." Alex challenged.  

"Oh where did you learn that, in some fake ass gangster movie? Josh questions shoving Alex hard in the chest which made him stumble back into Jack and Rian.  

"Motherfucker!" Alex shouts regaining his balance. 

  "Is there a problem here?" Mr.Simon the assistant principle questions.  

"Lets just go dude!" Zack says to Alex.

  "No sir there's no problem here." Taylor assures Mr.Simon.  

"This isn't over Farro!" Alex muttered, before walking off with his friends.

  "Shit I have to go guys." Josh glances down at his vibrating phone. Josh pulls Hayley off to the side." I'll call you later?" He kisses Hayley quickly before leaving.  

"What was that all about  H- bomb?" Taylor asks curiously.  

"Nothing Alex is just being a jerk." Hayley shrugs. "So what's the plan today gang?" Hayley swings her backpack over her shoulder.  

"Band practice, we also need to figure out how we're going to perform without a lead guitarist, an no drummer." Jeremy explained as they all walked through the woods behind the school, to get to their hangout spot.

"WHAT THE HELL!" Everyone cursed in sync, not believing the sight in front of them.

  "This can't be happening, no one is suppose to know about this place." Hayley spat angrily as she and her friends watched as construction men removed their belongings from the old abandon house.  " I'm going to see whats going on?" Hayley angrily stormed up to one of the construction.  

"What the hell is going on, this is our stuff, you can't just throw it out." Hayley shouted at the first construction guy in her path, who so happen to be the guy in charge.

  "Look lady, will give you and your friends an hour to get your things while we're on our lunch break, after that this place is coming down."   

"You can't do this, this is are place." Kat  jumps into the conversation.  

"Yeah, this house has been here for a long time, why is it being knocked down now?" Jeremy asks just as angry as everyone else .  

"This place has been declared condemned. Wait are you the six... I mean five kids that were reported for living in this place?" The guy asks.  The gang stood in shock, not believing their ears. "You know there are shelters that will house you all." The guy continued.

  "We're not homeless you jackass; this is our hangout." Taylor is more than pissed off as he sees his custom guitar being carried out with no care as its laid on the dirty ground.  " you've got to be fucking kidding me he snaps running over to rescuer his guitar. 

  "Who did this? Who reported this lie?" Hayley pleaded with the guy.   

"You all seem like good kids, I don't know exactly what the girls name is, but she's the mayors daughter. She reported five or six kids from her school living here in this abandon house." The man feels slightly bad for what he and his crew was paid to do. " like I said we'll give you time to remove your things." And with that he walks away.  

"THAT STUPID BITCH! Hayley shouts once the construction worked left for their break.  

"Who Hayles? What do you know?"  Taylor questions.  

"Tessa! Tessa is the fucking mayors daughter...

In the next chapter it will explain why Hayleys grandparents aren't so angery with her.;)
