**** Two Weeks Later****
Josh sat in the living room of his grandparents house not believing his own ears, he had just gotten what he considered to be the best news of his seventeen years of life. The rest of his family had decided to move to Franklin, well his parents did anyways; his siblings weren't to thrilled about the sudden move. They probably thought the same way he did when he told that he'd be moving there : that Franklin was nothing more than country music, hillbillies, and trees. Josh laughed at the thought, after meeting Hayley and his friends Franklin didn't seem so bad after all. But most importantly he was glad that he wouldn't have to make that hard decision at the end of the school year.
Yes Josh had wondered what would happen to him and Hayley at the end of the school year. Would they be able to handle a long distance relationship if he chose to move back to New Jersey, or would they have just ended it. Josh didn't like either option and he was sure that Hayley wouldn't have either, but ultimately Josh knew he would have probably made the decision of staying in Franklin with Hayley, because of how much he loves her.
"Joshua!" His mother raises her voice through the phone to get his attention, as he had been daydreaming for the past two minutes.
"Yes mom?" Josh responds with a smile still plastered on his face, he couldn't stop thinking about Hayley.
"Are you ok son , you just went quiet for a moment?" Mrs. Farro questioned.
"Yes everything is perfect !" Josh squealed like a little girl as his voice cracked.
"Are you sure your ok honey." His mother asks once more.
"Yes everything is great mom."
"Ok, now can you please put your grandmother or your grandfather on the phone."
"There not here, grandpa gone fishing and grandma went.... somewhere." Josh shrugs as if his mother could see him through the phone.
"Ok , just let them know I called, because I really need to speak with your grandmother, so don't forget. Love you honey bye."
"Ok, love you too bye mom." Josh rushed ending the call and quickly made his way over to the window were he notices that both Hayley's grandparents were out as well, he dialed Hayley's number. Impatiently Josh begins to tap his fingers against the window seal as he waited for Hayley to answer her phone, he was so excited to share the good news with her.
"Hello?" Hayley answers her phone. Josh could clearly hear the hoarseness and tiredness in her voice, she must have been sleeping? He thought to himself
"Did I wake you, I'm sorry babe" Josh apologized. He was so excited that he had forgotten that Hayley wasn't much of an morning person.
" No it's fine I was just about to get up anyways. So what can I do for you this fine morning handsome ." Hayley giggled at how cheeses what she had just said sounded while josh let out a chuckle in return.
" I have some really good news I want to share with you." Josh says as he continues to glance out the window.
"Ok....." Hayley urges Josh to continue.
"Its something i wanna tell you in person?" Josh hinted.
"Are you sure your grandmother would approve of me coming over?" Hayley raised her eyebrow, wondering what Josh had to say to her that he couldn't say to her over the phone.
"I'm sure she wouldn't mine, it's not like she's here anyways." Josh walks to the door, and unlocks it.
"Give me five minutes?" Hayley yawns climbing out of bed.
"Ok just hurry!" Josh says becoming more impatient.
Hayley stumbles into her bathroom, washed her face and brushes her teeth knowing in fact that Josh would kiss her at some point during her short visit. Hayley then pulls her hair into a messy bun, before heading back to her bedroom where she pulled on a pair of grey skinnies a plain white t-shirt , and her black converses and no make -up figuring it was to early to try and be pretty for anyone.
Skipping down her driveway Hayley stop and looks both ways before crossing the street, after seeing that she was clear to go Hayley continued to skip up the Farro's Driveway. Before she could ring the doorbell the door flew open reviling a very excited Josh.
"Hey, well aren't we happy today." Hayley giggles taking in Josh's bubbly mood.
"Come in." Josh chuckles taking Hayley by the hand and pulling her inside, before Hayley could say a word her back hits the back of front door as Josh crashes his lips into hers. Hayley kisses him back with no hesitation , but is confuse because she thought Josh had good news to share with her.
Breathing heavily now Hayley places her hands on Josh's shoulders to break their kiss.
"What's wrong?" Josh pants trying to catch his breath.
"Nothing, I thought you had something to tell me. Isn't that why you invited me over? Hayley couldn't help but to smile as Josh eyes lit up, like a child who had walked into an all candy store for the first time.
After explaining the good new to Hayley that his family was moving to town, two decided to hang out in Josh's room for bit. They settled on watching a little tv before the topic of music came up.
"That's just perfect Josh, how could you forget to tell me that your brother plays the drums. I can't wait to tell Jeremy, and Taylor that we've found a replacement!" Hayley squealed excitement.
"Calm down babe, I'm not even sure he'll do it. Zac is a bit complicated."
"What do you mean?" Hayley ask curiously.
"We'll first off he doesn't want to move here, so he'll probably just mope around, and he's only fourteen, which means he's very immature." Josh explains glancing down at Hayley who was lying in his arms.
"That's no so bad, I mean you didn't like Franklin when you first moved her, and he's only a year younger than Taylor; I'm sure they'd get along well." Hayley smiles up at Josh.
Josh smiles back. "What?" Hayley ask as Josh just smiles at her.
"You really want this band thing to work don't you?" "Yeah I do. Don't you?"
"Of course I do." Josh kisses Hayley's cheek.
"Are you trying to start something Farro?" Hayley giggles as Josh kisses her cheek for the third time.
"Maybe I am?" Josh smirks placing a kiss Hayley's cheek one more before the unexpected happened. "Joshua who are talking to in there? " A very familiar voice asked from the other side if the door.
"Shit!" Hayley and Josh both whispered yelled as they recognized Josh's grandmothers voice. The two had to think fast. Hayley quickly but quietly climbed off Josh's bed and crawled underneath it. While Josh on the other hand quickly grabbed his iPod, switched it on and shoved the ear buds in his ear, just as his grandmother opened the door.
"Josh, do you not hear me speaking to you?" Mrs. Farro asked thinking that Josh was still up set with her for not allowing him to see Hayley. Of course Josh heard her but he pretended his music was to loud. Hayley on the other hand was under Josh's bed trying her best not to burst out in a fit of laughter.
"Joshua!" Mrs. Farro says again as she walked farther into the room. Josh pretends to be startled as if he hadn't know his grandmother was there.
"Oh hi grandma; your back so soon ?" Josh says turning his iPod back off, and tossing it aside.
"Yes there weren't many people at the shelter today. Are you ok Joshua I thought I heard you talking to someone?" Mrs. Farro raised her eyebrows suspiciously as she glanced around the room.
Josh lets out a nervous chuckle as he thought up his next lye. " You probably heard my bad singing, or maybe the tv, but mom did call and she said it was urgent that she speaks to you." Josh quickly changed the subject.
"Ok then, well lunch will be ready soon." Mrs. Farro says exiting the room and closing the door behind her. "The Coast is clear!" Josh whispers as he walked over to the door to lock it. Just as Josh reached for the doorknob the door flew open, Hayley gasps throwing herself back on to the floor and under Josh's bed. Josh gasp as well had he and Hayley been caught? Apparently not.
" I all most forgot, were having guest over tonight, some of your grandfathers old friends, so you should probably clean you room? Are you ok Joshua, your acting strange." Mrs. Farro asked out of suspicion.
"Yeah everything is fine, I I....was about to go to the kitchen to grab a snack." Josh stumbled over his words. His grandmother nods thinking nothing more of her grandsons weird behavior anymore, he's a teenage boy for gods sake. Josh walked pass his grandmother, and heads down stairs; hoping that she would not look under his bed. Mrs.Farro steps into Josh room glancing around for something out of the ordinary. Hayley held her breath hoping that she wouldn't look under the bed or Josh would be grounded until eternity. Hayley sighs in relief as she watches Mrs Farro exit the room and Josh return.
Josh sighs in relief as well leaning his back against his now locked bedroom door. "Hayles you can come out now." Josh whispers. Hayley begins to crawl from underneath Josh's bed, until her arm hit something what felt like a box. Hayley smirks devilishly as curiosity over took her. She had an idea what was in the box, all guys had them. She wasn't mad at Josh, but she knew it would embarrass him . So she thought what the heck.
"Uhmmmm what is this?" Hayley as placing the shoe box on Josh's bed with a smirk on her face. Josh's eyes grow wide "Uhmmm it's nothing he rushed over to retrieve the box, but Hayley was too quick
. " Ah ha, I knew it!" Hayley giggles taking the top off the box, revealing Josh's stash of Playboy magazines. Josh blushed deeply embarrassed of what his girlfriend had just found.
"Those are old, I haven't looked in that box in ages." Josh pleads to Hayley hoping that she wasn't angry with him.
"It's ok babe I'm not mad." Hayley places the box on Josh's bed.
"Your not?" Josh asked shocked.
"Of course not, those shanks got nothing on me." Hayley smirks seductivitally walking over to Josh, wrapping her arms around his neck, pulling him into a passionate kiss.

"Josh I really have to go now, I don't want to worry my grandmother. " Hayley explains sadly. She didn't want to leave, but it was almost dinner time and she knew that her grandmother would become worried if she didn't show up on time. Hayley had hid in Josh's room for almost eight hours waiting for the perfect time to sneak out, but Mrs.Farro was up and about doing house work so the time never came, but now Hayley had no choice now, she had to leave. Hayley and Josh quietly crept down the stairs, Mrs.Farro was no were in sight, the two stop dead in there tracks as they spotted Josh's grandmother on the couch. "I think she's asleep." Josh whispered peeking his head into the living.
"The back door." Hayley thinks quickly not Wanting to take the chance of getting caught. Josh nods leading Hayley though the kitchen. Thinking the cost was clear Hayley and Josh let down the guard. The two gasp as the back door flings revealing Josh's grandfather. Mr.Farro had no problem with Hayley and Josh dating, so he said nothing, and simply shook his head and walked passed the young couple.
"See you tomorrow ?" Josh pecks Hayley on the cheek.
"Yeah see ya!" Hayley and Josh began to panic hearing Mrs. Farro's voice.

"You should have let me kick that bitches ass!" Hayley whined noticing Tessa smirking at her as she and her friends sat at there usual lunch table.
"No I shouldn't have, girls like Tessa let other people fight their battles, all she do is sue you for harassment. " Josh explains.
"Yeah just let it go Hayles, my folks said we could hangout at my house anytime." Jeremy says.
"No way Jer, last time we were at your house, we got drunk and never made it home that night, which cause my boyfriend to get grounded. "Hayley pouts playfully and pecks Josh on the cheek. Josh blushed and the girls Awww at him.
"So Hayley tells us your little brother plays the drums, do you think he'll play for our upcoming gig this weekend since Liam bailed on us?" Taylor asked changing the subject to something more serious.
" I doubt it guys, like I explained to Hayles, Zac is complicated." Josh shrugs.
"You'll try to convince him right? I mean we need a drummer and he's our only hope, and this is our big shot. Jeremy explains.
"I ask him, but not sure if hell do it guys." Josh says. At the sound of the bell everyone went there separate ways to class.
