So as I promised here’s ‘Unexpected Love’ Hope you’ll enjoy the drama > ;)
“Uhmmm… Hayley…” Josh starts but pauses as he was now probably taking in my current awkward position, as I was now lying on his bedroom floor motionlessly flat on my back, half naked and embarrassedly still trying to remove my t-shirt that was stuck over my head; clearly reviling all of my assets, that were probably nothing compared to Jenna’s in his mind.
“Do you by any chance have a pair of scissors in hand, to cut me out of this death trap, before I suffocate?” I joked trying to lighten the uncomfortable silence that was among us.
I could hear the awkwardness in Josh’s chuckled, before I hear footsteps coming my way. An undesirable gasp escapes my lips as I feel Josh’s cold hands gripped both of my wrists to help me up from the floor. Giving the shirt a few tugs it finally slips over my head, and there I stood completely exposed, to a guy I had only met a few days ago. My mother would be so proud of me I thought sarcastically to myself. Sure I was still embarrassed but what could I do about it now; he had already seen everything that me bra and panties didn’t cover?
As much as I tried to hide the redness that graces my cheeks, it was useless, however what took me by surprise were Josh’s actions. We had been day dreamingly staring into each other’s eye as if nothing was out of the ordinary. Josh slowly began to lean in towards me as if he wanted to kiss me.
With only inches separating us, I nervously suck in an unnoticed deep breath, as Josh placed his hands on each side my waist slowly pulling me to him unsure if he really wanted to do whatever it is that was on his mind.
I was unsure as well, I mean we barely knew each other, and then there was our age difference and me not wanting to seem like and easy adolescent slut. Luckily I was saved by the bell, Josh phone to be exact.
Josh quickly removed his hands from my body, before taking a step back. Josh holds his gaze on me for a few seconds before pulling his phone from his pocket. “Uh Jack what’s up man?” Josh nonchalantly asks the person on the phone, giving me that ‘waits one minute’ jester, before exiting the room.
Standing speechless for a moment, as I considered what had just happened, I slowly stumble over my own two feet to Josh bed to grab the t-shirt he was letting me borrow. Slipping it over my head I decide to make a quick exit out of his bedroom, before he could return, and lead us to where left off at.
I’m guess I’m not exactly shy to admit that I have a little crush on Josh; however sex was not something I was willing to jump into so soon… and I wanted to make that clear, seeing how he had a girlfriend and all.
I casually walked around exploring Josh house trying to find my way back to the living room, but instead found myself in the kitchen. Who would have guesses a condo could be so big, but who was I kidding it wasn’t like some small one bed room apartment, it was the whole damn floor.
“I’ll call Jer, and ask him to open up the shop today; I’m running a little late today.” I hear Josh say from the other room. Instantly I felt guilty. Josh is an adult, who has responsibilities to take care of, and I was a child stopping him from doing so. If it wasn’t for me acting like a baby earlier, Josh could be at work by now.
“Sorry about that Jack, call me when Jer gets there.” Josh says into the phone before ending the call, and walking back towards his bed room.
“I’m right here.” I say before he leaves the room.
“Oh Uhmmm… Sorry about that, I…Uhmmm had to take that. One of my employees arrived earlier than expected.” Josh explains, shoving his back into his pocket.
“I’m sorry to be a bother, and if you have to get to work, I can just...” I start, but is cut off by Josh, who casually strolls over to me.
“You’re not a bother to me. Why would you think that?” Josh questions. I can’t help but to stare into his mesmerizing chocolate brown eyes.
“I just mean aren’t you supposed to be at work right now?” I question the obvious.
“Yeah, but this is more important.” Josh gives me a confuse expression, showing me that he wasn’t getting the point I was trying so desperately to make.
“Ok, fine.” I sigh in defeat. Josh smirks. “What?” I ask curiously.
“Are we having our first fight as friends?”
“What? No, I just thought that maybe you’d have something more important to do that save the day for me” I nervously began to fumble with the hem of my t-shirt.
“What’s more important than helping out a friend?” Josh questions in a friendly manner, before throwing his arm around my shoulder and leading my father into the living room where we began to watch a little TV.
About ten minutes later my clothes finally finishes wash, but still have to dry. Josh walks to the laundry room, to throw my clothes in the dryer, while I searches though his refrigerator for something unhealthy but there was nothing.
“Hey Josh do you have anything other than, carrot sticks and rice cakes?” I shout with my head still in the open refrigerator.
“Excuse you, but what the hell are you doing in my house?” I familiar female voice screeched from behind me.
“Quickly standing straight, pulling my head from the refrigerator and closing the door, I turn to face the satin herself. Jenna stood there with the most hatred expression I had every witness, and man if looks could kill I couldn’t even explain in details what my death would have been.
“JOSH, GET IN HERE RIGHT NOW!!!!!” Jenna barks.
“Babe what are you doing back now?” Josh asks. If only he knew how much that made him sound so guilty of something wrong; even though nothing actually happened, but there was no way in hell Jenna would believe that.
“Why the hell is this little bitch in my house?” Jenna spat.
“You mean our house?” Josh corrected, even though this wasn’t helping are case on bit, but why the hell should I care? I had nothing to prove to Jenna, so I simply walked away.
I could clearly hear Josh and Jenna arguing from the laundry room, as I grabbed my damp skinnies from the dryer. Pulling my t-shirt out as well I headed to their bedroom to grab my purse and backpack from the floor. ”What are you doing, your clothes aren’t even dry, I just put them in the dryer?” Josh question as if Jenna hadn’t shown up and things were still peaceful.
“I should go.” I say as Jenna storms into the room and continue her rampage.
“Wait… Why are her belonging in are bedroom if nothing happened?” Jenna questions suspiciously angry.
“Jenna nothing happen how many times to I have to tell you.” Josh snapped. “Hayley wait I’ll drive you to school” Josh says as I’m already making my way to the front door until remembered that the elevator was the front door. I paused; sure I was angry but I was terrified of elevators.
“What are you waiting for, get out of my house!” Jenna shouts pushing me onto the elevator, and making me fall to the floor.
“Jenna?” Josh roars disbelief.
“Josh where are you going?” Jenna questions as Josh quickly steps onto the elevator before the door could close, as he ignored Jenna.
“Are you okay?” He asks picking me up from the floor as well as my bags that he continued to hold.
“Yeah, I’m fine.” I lie, feeling the throbbing of my right arm that I fell on. My heart begins to beat fast as the elevator began to move downward. Josh seems to notice my discomfort immediately and quickly swoops in to save the day, by wrapping his free arm around me.
Once off the elevator, Josh open the passenger car door for me, the places my backpack into the back seat, before climbing into the driver’s seat himself.
“I’m sorry about the way Jenna reacted. I would normally say she’s not like that, but well you’ve encounter her bitchy side once before, so that would be a lie.
“Then why are you with her if she’s such a bitch?” I countered.
Josh ponders for a second before turning his head in my direction and replies “I don’t know, maybe I should be anymore…”
Oh I wonder what Josh meant, by that?
And what about Hayley's clothes. Do you think she'll make her first impression at her new school like that?
What's going to happen next?
